Im only 15 but Ive watched this show since the Premiere, so I was around 6 or so. It was always considered a family show at my house. I cant really see anything to inappropriate for kids over the age of nine or so. There is minor cursing such as crap and damn even when the main characters were kids around 10. But its really nothing a little kid hasn't heard from their family. There is also "" but it is done by a married couple and you don't see it, its just hinted. Its also in a little kids point of view(weird, uncomfortable, and a bit funny). Under aged , drinking, and drugs are "bad" and when the main characters are faced with a moral dilemma they always do the right thing, and if they don't they always face the consequces. The show even taught lessons, although mostly in the earlier seasons. My parents although strict, never "protected" us from violence and . They always made sure that we knew right from wrong. Im just asking this because Im curious and grew up with this show.

I'm 14, 5'0 feet, and weight 135-140. My arms are slightly big, I have some stomach fat even though you can barely see it; even if I'm wearing a close fitting shirt. Hi my nan who is 71 got diagnosed with lung cancer 18 months ago. She had 6 courses of chemo and 15 radiotherapy treatments, she accepted the treatment really well and did not lose her hair, she stopped smoking and put two stone on (7st to 9st, 1). Recently though she has been diagnosed with secondary ovary cancer :( the doctor she saw says they are more worried about the lung cancer and that if she was to die of anything it would be the lung cancer which is under control and has shrank from 6cm to 2cm. I am soo worried about her because she has many other health problems. But she has lots of energy and has put weight on and seems more healthier than before which i cannot understand. If any evidence comes back then you have a case to take to your sil. If not then I suggest discussing your feelings with the grandparents. If they have no concerns about babysitting then out. If they are as concerned as you then they need to start to refuse to sit suggesting that the child needs parental bonding time. As concerned as you are you cannot hope to convey your concerns to your sil without it appearing like you are interfering . So aviod the anguish and stay out of sil's way. If you letter is a true reflection of sil and bil then your intervening will only create more problems. If a real health concern fot the infant exists then call the Juvenile aid bureau in your city; but be prepared for the flak that will result.Because I ure you there will be fallout.

I went to the countryside to visit a friend of mine... he is a hard working big drinking type of a guy whom I've known since college ten years ago. Anyway, he invited me down to his new house he is renting - a huge 4-bedroomed villa. He showed me to his guest room and gave me use of his spare bathroom, and the use of a towel. However, I have felt horrible ever since as I immediately noticed how DIRTY his house was. All the kitchen floors were filty with crumbs and hair and food pieces, sink full of dirty dishes and cups. All the bathrooms were also filthy - toilets green with gunk, and sinks the same since he moved in a year ago. I was unsure if he gave me clean sheets on my bed, and the bath towel he gave me smelt like deodorant so I used my own one I brought just in case. Even the bathmat was black and felt like a piece of cardboard ingrained with dirt. Best Friend Moved Away After 10 years?

General depression and introversion?

I am not really looking for a specific answer, but hopefully someone with similar experiences. Because of the way I grew up, I think I developed a coping mechanism that helped me deal with problems early on. I've had an unfortunate upbringing with a cold, distant mother who physically and emotionally abused me (not ually, thank God), and an absent-minded, alcoholic father. It wasn't too long before I got over it and lived a decent, emotionally stable life during my tweens. To get to the point, I learned to forgive my family, accept them as imperfect people and still love them very much. I can remember becoming distant from my self from whatever issue that came up in order to deal with it without getting caught up in my emotions. I honestly believe that I've managed to get rid of a larger part my ego, an idea that I took to heart from reading the teachings of Jesus Christ. I want to note that I am aware how some people can become self delusional about religion in general and don't feel that this is the case with me, but I could be wrong. The only way I can ure myself of this is because of how easy it is for me to be compionate towards people, especially towards complete strangers. I ended up being very introverted and had no need to say anything that wasn't practical. I love being quiet, is a kind of peaceful bliss not being attached to the world. The problem, I think, may stem from me being distant from my own problems and putting people before myself. Let me describe what I mean by being distant, for lack of a better term. I use to feel hurt seeing my dad drinking, wasting all of his money and pretty much neglecting our family's needs. I learned to control my feelings and accept it. It wasn't really that bad after a while. His drunken stupor was the best time to take money out of his wallet to buy food, clothes and shoes and pizza. To get back to the point, I tend to be doormat but I'm not as submissive as some people think; I try to be as agreeable towards people only because there are some people you just can't really talk to, so you just say whatever they want to hear. The people I'm mostly talking about are those who have big egos and those who are mean and ugly out of stupidity. Now my recent problems: I never talk about my problems, I've been feeling very depressed and struggle in having an optimistic attitude and I've become more and more distant from people to the point where I do not trust anyone.I don't care about material things, I don't care about my ego, I don't care about being important and try to avoid any attention towards my self, but I still am very compionate towards people, especially in the environment where I am currently employed. I've started to become lost in my mind. I don't understand why some people can be so stupid, mean or ugly in the way they treat other people. I've become a mute to the people I know. I am unintentionally aloof and get a lot of **** from people, especially those who are very insecure about their intelligence. (Not that I consider myself intelligent. I'm aware of my limitations). This makes it incredibly difficult to talk to people. Once, I was corrected on a mistake and simply nodded. I guess it looked like I was being dismissive and the person who corrected me suddenly became very condescending, in front of all of my peers. This person was really smart, their words were very cut throat and hurtful, but I said nothing. I just stop talking completely, which made things worse. I have a lot of anxiety about my intelligence. I try my best, I don't pretend to be intelligent (it makes me cringe when I'm around people who give themselves away with generic, "smart people" jargon) and I don't judge people solely on those terms. It feels like a lot of people do and it drives me crazy. It's the same everywhere I go, people and their big egos. I can not express myself because I am forced to calculate what I say in order to throw people off when they are trying to figure me out, another thing I can't stand. I know it's hard for people to communicate with me when I don't say much, but the first impression people always get from my silent aloofness is that this guy probably thinks he's soooo smart, then that's when the ugly part of some people comes out, not as disguised as they might think. Because of my insecurity, I become paralyzed. I've tried acting stupid, but that backfires and makes it worse. I've tried telling people that I'm just introverted, but somehow I end up in similar situations.. Buick Car Key Question?

I have a 1994 used Buick Lesabre. I dont have a door key for it, just an ignition key, and the handheld lock/unlock mechanism. I went to a dealership and had them make me a door key, but it would not work. So the guy went back inside the dealership, and checked the code for the key, and also checked the VIN number on the car to make sure it matched my registration. He then Made another key, and it still would not unlock the doors. The cylinders on the car have never been changed. Its just a plain key, and it does not have a chip in it. Can anyone diagnose this problem and tell me why the keys wont work, but the handheld eletrical mechanism will? Thank You

Me and my cousin are going on a roadtrip in a year or so and we are going to California (from Louisiana). I have yet to get it fixed and then tonight my engine light went off once i started my car and then the O/D (overdrive light) came on and began flashing. everytime i accelerated the car seemed very sluggish and did not accelerate fast. i have a 2000 mazda protege, can anyone help me figure out what this o/d flashing light means.

Looking online, it seems like I could get a GPS tracker for my pet, which would tell me it's location if it were to say run away. Why don't they make something similar for bicycles? My bike was stolen recently, and I've been looking online to see if there are any tracking devices for bikes. hi i just wanted a bit of advice/info about court this has been going on for sometime. im meant to be a witness an unwilling one child protection asked me some time ago if i will go to court i said no im don't want anything to do with it. they said they wanted to look at my medical notes i said no they cant they said they can get an order to look at them. i said if that's what they can do then that's what they will have to do. that was about 6 months ago. and the other day they called me again to ask if i would reconsider, i said the above once again. i have been told a court summons has to be handed to me what if im not at home or what if i refuse to take the summons from who delivers it? and if its all so easy for them to get what they want ie for me to go court and for them to look at my medical notes then why do they ask me to reconsider instead of just doing what they have said.

I am an independent sales representative (I am a contract worker/1099 - not an employee). I am paid strictly on commission. So...the client paid up front and got the discount for immediate payment. But my commission is paid in 6 installments and at the lower rate because the client paid in full up front. I have an HP dv5220 laptop purchased August 2006 which uses an IPW3945 ABG card(intel), which has been working fine until the past 2 weeks. OK before you start bashing me, I've been stealing a neighbor's wireless for a while now, but I ordered internet for myself, which is about to come Sunday . But I still want to ess the problem and figure out why my wireless isn't working. so 2 weeks ago, my wireless went haywire -- it still works but it is verrrrrry slow, i mean as slow as dial-up. At times, it peaks to regular cable modem performance though. I identified it as a linksys WRT54G wireless router (through entering the gateway IP in the web browser). It isn't a problem with the network card because i tried connecting to another router and connection performance was good. So now that i pinpointed it to the router i've always been using, I tried to figure out what it is. I'm not a network specialist so could someone help me? Im switching to Backtrack2 livecd to use wireshark.
