A question about my SIL..?

If you are so concerned about the little one then one day whilst you are babysitting take him to the doctors and have him screened for lead. If any evidence comes back then you have a case to take to your sil. If not then I suggest discussing your feelings with the grandparents. If they have no concerns about babysitting then out. If they are as concerned as you then they need to start to refuse to sit suggesting that the child needs parental bonding time. As concerned as you are you cannot hope to convey your concerns to your sil without it appearing like you are interfering . So aviod the anguish and stay out of sil's way. If you letter is a true reflection of sil and bil then your intervening will only create more problems. If a real health concern fot the infant exists then call the Juvenile aid bureau in your city; but be prepared for the flak that will result.Because I ure you there will be fallout.
