You have to be very careful not to get burned but get a hair dryer or an iron and some wax paper. Put the wax paper over the candle wax and put the iron (use a low setting) on the carpet or faux fur and just iron until it melts onto the wax paper. Use the lowest setting first so it just warms the wax up enough to melt.
