39 weeks pregnant and baby not moving much?

My baby never has been a huge kicker. The fetal kick counts every two hours did not work for me because she has always been the baby that kicks for an hour and then nothing for 10 hours and then kicking for a few hours and then nothing for long spurts. However, this past week she has been kicking me WAY more than normal and now today she has not kicked at all. I am 39 weeks today and am petrified of having a cord accident and a stillborn. I am going to go to L&D if she doesn't start moving in the next hour and have her checked. Anyone else had this problem? I haven't had any signs of labor either, haven't lost my plug, no dilating no effacing, nothing.
